This is Snoopers leading radar detector which has a built in text display providing a clear visual alert while a built-in piezo beeper gives you an audible alert of any impending radar or laser sources.

Signal Readings

When the Snooper S5-R receives a radar signal it will emit an audible alert relevant to that frequency and the digital text display will indicate exactly what frequency you are detectiong. The strength of the signal is indicated by a number from 1-5 at the far right of the display as well as by signal strength 'blocks'. The signal strength will increase from 1-5 as you approach the source and decrease as you move away from it and out of range. When the unit has finished detecting a signal the digital text display will revert to indicating the Logic Mode selected.

As Laser alerts require immediate action and are normally at full strength, no signal strength is indicated. An audible alarm will be emitted and the display will indicate that 'Laser' is being detected.
